The government did, however, announce several new relaxations. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin stated in an official declaration that inter-state public transportation, save to and from Puducherry, will remain restricted. Restaurants, bars, theatres, swimming pools, educational institutions, zoos, and any other social, political, cultural, or sporting gatherings will continue to be prohibited under the new restrictions. According to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, only 50 people would be permitted to attend weddings, and 20 people will be allowed to participate in funerals.
On the other hand, Relaxations have been implemented for ITIs, industrial schools, and type-writing schools. On a rotating basis, these institutions can operate with 50% student capacity. Teachers can visit schools to help with admissions and textbook distribution.
