World Gin Day celebration spotlights India’s top 50 bartenders with nature-inspired creations crafted in the wilds of Meghalaya.
In a bold reimagining of cocktail craft, Bombay Sapphire has launched its Hidden Jewels series, a first-of-its-kind gin cocktail experience featuring India’s top 50 bartenders. Far from their bars, these mixologists were immersed in the Meghalaya wilderness, drawing inspiration from nature, memory, and cultural nuance.
Hosted ahead of World Gin Day, the campaign underscores Bombay Sapphire’s creative mantra: “Stir Creativity.” Each participating bartender translated their experience into a new signature cocktail, now available in premier bars across Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Goa, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Kolkata.
Nature Becomes Flavor
The bartenders drew ideas from iconic Indian landscapes, Dal Lake’s serenity, Jodhpur’s hues, and the deep greens of Meghalaya. Through workshops with indigenous artisans and avant-garde chefs, they explored new flavor formats, local ingredients, and story-driven presentation techniques.
From color to garnishing, each cocktail embodies what Bombay Sapphire calls liquid storytelling.
