Using a tram, rail, or cab to get from one landmark to another, such as a monument, may be an effective method to explore new cities. However, there is much to be said for exploring areas on foot at a slower pace. Nonetheless, there are specific locations to visit that are walkable while others are not. 

Paris – Paris is a worthwhile location to visit at your leisure; however, it may take several days to see everything it offers. Don’t forget to visit Montmartre’s small winding alleys, cafés, and the intriguing Sacre-Coeur, which is one of Paris’s most romantic spots. You may also wish to take a break at one of the various cafés and restaurants before seeing the renowned landmark in Paris, The Eiffel Tower, which is around an hour’s walk away.

New York City – New York City is one of the most walkable cities in the United States. With its numbered streets and pedestrianized New York Times Square, Manhattan undoubtedly contributes to its walkability. Walk down Fifth Avenue and the Brooklyn Bridge into Clinton Hill to see the historical and magnificent brownstones. Central Park, New York’s 843-acre park, is also a must-see attraction. 

Marrakech – Marrakech’s Medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that includes several historical sites and maybe easily visited on foot. The must-see destination in Marrakech’s labyrinthine passageways, where you may discover Berber rug weavers, unusual spices, and brightly colored babouches. Walking south will take you to the 16th century El Badi Palace ruins, as well as the well-known Jemaa El-Fnaa plaza, where you may find festivals, food booths, and street entertainers. Visit the lovely olive Menara Gardens in the west for a calm, tranquil moment.
