ITwo history-sheeters and many others reportedly raped a 16-year-old girl in Nagpur, Maharashtra, police claimed on Wednesday. The victim, a class XI student, resides in Ganeshpeth with her mother. On Tuesday afternoon, she went to see her female friend, who drove her to meet her lover Amit. According to them, the incident happened on Tuesday in the Vasant Nagar area of the Ajni police station. Amit Lokhande (22), Prashik Gote (25), Vishal alias Dattu Khatak, and Bittu Waghmare have been named as the suspects. According to a police officer, Amit and Dattu have many crimes against them. According to police, the victim, a class XI student, resides in the Ganeshpeth neighborhood with her mother. On Tuesday afternoon, she went to see her female friend, who drove her to meet her lover Amit. Dattu threatened the girl with a knife and brought her to a room where he sexually abused her while she was talking with Amit. Pratik, Bittu, and Amit then took turns raping her. According to accounts, the accused eventually requested the girl to leave the area. That girl later ran home moreover told her sister regarding her incident, who brought her to Ajni police station and filed a report. Police in Ajni have registered an infraction under IPC sections 376 (d), 506 (b), and 34, as well as the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act, and an investigation is underway.
