Volleyball is a sport played by two teams of six members individually. The players use their skills to hit a ball back and forth across a high net, striving to make the ball contact the court within the players’ playing area before returning it.

To avoid this, an opposing team player bats the ball up and toward a teammate before it touches the court surface; that teammate may later volley it following over the web or bat it to a replacement teammate, who volleys it across the net.

Thus, a team has three touches on the ball before it must be returned over the net. On each side of the net, there are teams. Volleyball is a sport that can be a lot of fun to play.
